Wapic Insurance Ghana Names New MD

The Board of Directors of Wapic Insurance (Ghana) Limited has appointed Mr. Adedayo Arowojolu as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer who will oversee the next phase of the company’s growth and evolution.

The appointment follows the redeployment of Mr Razzaq Abiodun who returned to a more senior role in the Group Office.

Mr. Arowojolu is an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director/Chief Executive of Wapic Ghana, Mr Arowojolu was the Group Head, Oil and Gas responsible for all Wapic’s the upstream and downstream clients in Nigeria.

With the recent confirmation of his appointment by the National Insurance Commission (NIC) of Ghana, Mr Arowojolu assumes the position of Managing Director/CEO with immediate effect to oversee the next phase of the Company’s growth.

Wapic Insurance (Ghana) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wapic Insurance Plc. Operating through a network of six branches located in major centres across Ghana, the Company provide insurance cover for all classes of insurable risks.

As part of its continued growth strategy, Wapic Insurance (Ghana) is focused on mainstreaming sustainable business practices into its operations.

The Company strives to deliver sustainable economic growth that is profitable, environmentally responsible and socially relevant.
