Western Marine Customs Confiscates Goods Valued At N197.8million

The Western Marine Command of Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, has seized cannabis sativa (Indian Hemp) and other prohibited items worth over N197.8million.

The Customs Area Controller, CAC, of the Command, Comptroller B. N. Binga, who disclosed this at a press conference also took news men round the Command’s warehouse that was  filled with seized rice, second hand clothing, shoes, sugar, vegetable oil and other items smuggled into the country through the creeks.

The controller then called on States given allocation of items for IDPs to evacuate the items as soon as possible.
