In order to ensure hitch free celebration across the 14 local governments areas of the state, the Zamfara State Police Command under the leadership of CP Usman Nagogo has assured members of the public that, adequate security measures have been put in place to cover all the praying grounds as well as on the highways to forestall any security hitch.
To this end, the Commissioner of Police has directed all Area Commanders, DPOs and various Tactical commanders to ensure that they cover their areas of responsibility through aggressive stop and search, rigorous patrols as well as raiding of criminal hideout areas.
Similarly, the CP enjoined members of the public to be security conscious and report all suspicious movement to the nearest police station for prompt action.
The CP further warns all and sundry to abide by the rules and regulations meant for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 in Zamfara state.
