The Zamfara State Enforcement team on COVID-19 headed by the Commissioner of Police CP Usman Nagogo as part of its enforcement duties has visited Zamfara-Katsina Border at YANKARA to ensure total compliance of the state government law against spread of COVID-19 in Zamfara State.
Nagogo was accompanied by other members of the committee that includes; the Brigade Commander 1 Brigade Gusau, Brigadier General O M Bello, Director of State Security (DSS) Mr. M T Wakili, Commandant NSCDC Aliyu Alhaji Garba among others.
The Commissioner of Police while visiting the border called on members of the public to cooperate with the Government and Security Agencies in their effort to prevent the spread of the pandemic in the state. He warned that any person or group that violates this order would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the level of compliance and appeals to all and sundry to continue to be law abiding, so that together we can free Zamfara State against the Pandemic.
However, CP Usman Nagogo used the opportunity to remind the joint security operatives deployed for this assignment to exhibit a high level of professionalism while dealing with whoever that comes their way.
