Abuja Continental Hotel Targets Top Spot In MICE Business

Abuja Continental Hotel is strategically positioning itself to become a leading player in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business.
According to Karl Hala, the hotel’s General Manager, the hotel is equipped with topnotch facilities and services to meet the needs of MICE business.

Hala made the remark in an interactive session with Tourism Editors in an experiential tour of Abuja Continental Hotel

He observed that despite the growing travel and tourism market in Abuja, there is still a sleeping market that needs to be tapped. He assured that Abuja Continental Hotel is well-positioned to take advantage of this opportunity.

The hotel boasts 14 hectares of land, three towers with 200 rooms each, and almost two and a half thousand square meters of convention facility at the Ladi Kwali wing. This facility will soon be transformed into a Congress center.

Karl emphasized that Abuja is the place to meet, and the hotel is committed to delivering exceptional services to its guests. “We want to be there for that,” he said.

As part of the hotel’s ongoing transformation, the Papillon Restaurant is being converted into a breakfast place. The terraces outside will be available for a full food and beverage delight.

The pool bar has been redesigned to give it a trendy look. Hala described it as “beyond the Dubai look” and “really trendy.

The hotel’s second entrance is under construction, and the new facades outside will be tiled in orange color to make the hotel stand out.

The hotel’s commitment to delivering exceptional services is evident in its transformation plans. With its focus on MICE business, Abuja Continental Hotel is poised to become a leading player in the industry.

Concluding he said Abuja Continental Hotel is targeting the top spot in the MICE business. With its state-of-the-art facilities and services, the hotel is well-positioned to deliver exceptional services to its guests.
